In the traditional labor market, your value is negotiated based on credentials, job titles, and interview charisma. In a verified skills-based market, your value is calculated based on Career Capital.
What is Career Capital?
Career Capital is the total stock of validated professional outputs you have accumulated. It is an economic asset owned entirely by you, not your employer. It represents the measurable value of what you can build, launch, and execute.
Unlike university degrees or past credentials which are static and depreciate over time, Career Capital is a dynamic, compounding asset that grows with every validated project evidence you complete.
How Career OS Estimates Career Capital
Under the Career OS protocol, your Career Capital is estimated based on the market equivalent value (EMV) of your verified projects. The algorithm evaluates your projects against four parameters:
- Base Value: The baseline market salary value associated with executing a specific skill/milestone.
- Quality Multiplier: Derived from the AI Assessor quality rating tier of your evidence.
- Level Multiplier: Increments based on the complexity level of the milestone task.
- Demand Multiplier: Calibrated dynamically against active real-world hiring demand in tech markets.
This gives a clear, objective model valuation of your skills. It serves as a tool to negotiate compensation, plan career growth, or display verifiable competency to VC networks and hiring managers.
